Rock Haven Spa - Frequently Asked Questions

In order to ensure a relaxing and pleasant experience at Rock Haven Spa, we've answered some of the questions guests of our spa frequently ask. Reviewing these suggestions will help you prepare for your upcoming Spa visit.

How and when should I make my spa appointment?

Reservations for Rock Haven Spa may be made by calling the spa directly at 785-650-0772. We encourage you to schedule your spa services well in advance of your visit to ensure the widest selection of treatments and appointment times. Spa appointments must be held with a credit card.

What is the cancellation policy?

We respectfully ask that you give Rock Haven Spa a minimum of 48 hours notice if you must cancel an appointment. Failure to do so, will result in a cancellation fee for every person cancelled, and will be charged to your credit card on file. The only exception is severe weather.

What is the policy on inclement weather?

Due to the rural area that Rock Haven is located, we are often subjected to severe weather. Snow and rain can make it difficult to navigate our property, and for this reason, we must occasionally close. Our staff and guest safety is most important to us! If the Ellis County Highway Patrol issues hazardous travel, we will be closed. Please keep an eye on our Facebook and our website for closings. If we make the difficult decision to close our spa, we will call our guests booked for that day and reschedule to the best of our ability.

Is gratuity included in my service price?

Gratuity is not included in your service price. However, we respectfully suggest a 20% gratuity. At Rock Haven Spa, total gratuity is shared by all who assist in your unforgettable spa experience. For groups of 4 or more, a 20% gratuity will be added to your service ticket.

What time should I arrive for my Spa services?

Please arrive at the specified time of your appointment. We try very hard to be on time with each guest. Please call us, if you need to double check your time.

What if I arrive late to the Spa?

Arriving late may limit the time for your treatment. We will do our best to accommodate, but without jeopardizing the other guests’ service times.

Can I bring my kids to the Spa?

Rock Haven Spa is an adult only area, we respectfully request that guests do not bring their children (or babies) to services with them. Our age limit requirement is 13 years old (accompanied by an adult) to receive a service at Rock Haven.

What should I bring to the Spa?

Please bring a bathing suit and a comfortable pair of sandals or flip flops. When booking a couples packages, bathing suits are optional as facilities for both of you are private. Also, bring any gift cards you plan to redeem at the Spa; as we are not able to look up gift card numbers.

What if I have special medical conditions?

Please notify us of any special needs or concerns when you book your services. Your therapist will also briefly review your health history with you before beginning your service. Our property has multiple buildings, and while light transportation is available via golf carts, there are stairs and rocky terrain guests will have to navigate. If you have special concerns please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs!

Should I avoid the Spa if I am pregnant?

Your physician can best advise you on which treatments are safe. We suggest that you avoid treatments using deep pressure and heat. While at Rock Haven, you will be able to enjoy limited Bathing Rituals by sitting beside the outdoor whirlpool with your friends, and enjoying our signature salt scrub in the showers (minus the hot steam).
